Hi, I'm Lucy, the artist behind all the work you see here on this website - I am based in the UK and live in Bedfordshire. I have loved making art for as long as I can remember and always dreamt of creating art for a living and here I am trying to do exactly that.

I specialise in landscape painting mostly, typically using gouache paint. I gravitate towards this medium for its opaque quality and layering capabilities which in turn makes adding the fine details and finishing touches to paintings really enjoyable and satisfying. The matte finish you achieve with gouache also makes these usually small scale landscape pieces really pop. 

 

I enjoy branching out from time to time with both medium and subject matter - including oil pastel works, acrylic table-scapes and various watercolour pieces. I am always wanting to expand in the work I do and continuously find myself wanting to try new things.
